License Plate Revival
I ended up with an old 1953 Alberta license plate. Thought maybe I'd have some fun with it and try to revive it for another piece of garage art. All told there is about an hour labour in it. After sandblasting I straightened it as best I could. It needed some shrinking and I wasn't about to get into that so it isn't perfectly flat. Then fixing the hole and rebuilding the numbers 7 and 8. Finally a little paint. These weren't the original colours for 1953 (green on white I think) but its what I thought would look good.
