The first step is to fit the new firewall. As with any reproduction
part trimming and fitting is required.

The first step is to fit the new firewall. As with any reproduction
part trimming and fitting is required.
From this view you can see the existing firewall has been sandblasted
except for the bottom few inches which will be removed anyway.
The side cowl is now fitted using the firewall as a reference.
Not too much tweaking was required here.
Time for the torque box to go in. Unlike the other side this didn't
require as much cutting and fitting
but still required some to get it to fit just right.
